Affiliate and advertising disclosure
Last updated: 2026-09-10
The important part first
Some links on this site and in our video descriptions are affiliate links. If you buy something through one of them, we earn a commission. It costs you nothing extra: you pay exactly the same price as if you had gone there directly.
Why we tell you
Because it's required and because it's fair. US law (the FTC) and European consumer rules require disclosing any financial relationship with a product you recommend. Where an individual link is an affiliate link, it will say so there too.
What we recommend, and what we don’t
Our tutorials show how to get something done with tools that exist. If a feature is only available in a paid version, we say so and we show it, because that's the honest answer to the question. We will never pretend you need to pay for something that can be done for free: where a free option exists, it goes first.
Advertising
This site may show ads in the future. When it does, they will be labelled as ads and the privacy policy will explain it beforehand.
